Terms and Conditions

1. Tickets. A ticket is valid for the date and half-hour entry window printed on it. Once inside, there is no time limit. A concession ticket must be presented with supporting documentation; without it the ticket is not valid.

2. Refunds. An e-ticket may be refunded up to 24 hours before the start of the chosen entry window, through your account. Money is returned to the payment card within five working days. Tickets for capacity-limited events are refundable up to 72 hours before.

3. Visitor rules. Food and drink are not permitted in the halls; large bags and backpacks bigger than A4 must be left in the cloakroom. Amateur photography without flash or tripod is allowed; commercial photography must be arranged with the press office.

4. Exhibits. Touching exhibits is not permitted, except for objects specifically marked as touchable in the Discovery Centre. Damage to an exhibit carries liability under applicable law.

5. Children. Visitors under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Organised groups require at least one adult per ten children.

6. Limitation of liability. The museum is not liable for belongings left unattended outside the cloakroom and lockers.

7. Changes. The museum may change the schedule or close individual halls for technical reasons, giving notice on the website. If more than half the display is closed, tickets are refunded in full.
