What to see first

If time is short, start in the space hall: the Vostok-1 descent module, the ground twin of Lunokhod-1 and the Orlan-MK suit stand together and tell the story of half a century.

Then go up to the jet era hall for the Tu-144 and Buran — the largest exhibits in the collection. On the way, in the engine hall, look at the RD-170: a thrust record unbeaten for forty years.

If time remains, look into the restoration workshop — it works behind a glass wall and is open to view every day.
